Nothing here is made in a hurry
There are no factories and no machines behind a SNØRR tote — only good materials, patient hands, and the belief that things made slowly are made to last. This is how each one comes to be.
The yarn
We start with the finest cotton
Every bag begins with a careful choice. We select only the finest reusable cotton rope — soft enough to carry close, strong enough to last for years. It is the quiet foundation beneath everything that follows.
By hand
Crocheted by Jette
Each SNØRR tote is crocheted by hand by our founder, Jette — stitch by stitch, with no machines and no shortcuts. Only hours of patience, care, and an instinct for quality built over a lifetime.
Jette checks every bag herself, and only the ones that meet her standard ever leave her hands. Because each is made by hand, no two are ever quite alike — those small differences are the signature of something truly handmade, and a quiet record of the love held within.
The finish
Marked in real leather
Every tote is finished with a tag of genuine leather, cut and laser-engraved with the SNØRR mark. On the inside of the strap, pressed where only you will find it, three words: Made in Denmark.
Denmark to Dubai
Carried from Copenhagen to your door
Once a bag is made in Denmark, it travels to our home in Dubai — where Jette's son, Kian, keeps each one safe. He packs every order by hand and sends it on its way, so the care that began in Copenhagen stays with your bag all the way to your door.
