Product Care
Our cotton rope bags are made to last. With a little care, your SNORR bag will become more beautiful with every use — the cotton softening gently over time, taking on the character of the hands that carry it.

Washing
We recommend hand washing your SNORR bag as the gentlest method. Use lukewarm water and a small amount of mild detergent. Gently work the rope between your fingers, rinse thoroughly, and squeeze out excess water — do not wring or twist.
If you prefer to use a washing machine, place the bag in a mesh laundry bag and select a gentle or delicate cycle at a maximum of 30°C. Use a mild, colour-safe detergent. Always remove the leather tag before machine washing.
Avoid bleach, fabric softeners, or any harsh chemical cleaners — these can weaken the cotton fibres and affect the texture of the rope.
Drying
Always air dry your SNORR bag. Never tumble dry or place near a direct heat source such as a radiator or in direct sunlight, as heat can shrink the cotton and distort the shape.
After washing, gently reshape the bag by hand and lay it flat or hang it in a well-ventilated area. Allow it to dry completely before storing or using again.
Leather Tag
Each SNORR bag is finished with a genuine leather tag. Remove the tag before machine or hand washing to protect the leather from water damage.
To clean the leather tag, wipe gently with a dry or very slightly damp cloth. Avoid soaking, chemical cleaners, or prolonged exposure to moisture. Reattach the tag once the bag is fully dry.
Storage
When not in use, store your bag in the dust bag provided. Keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity, both of which can fade the cotton and affect the rope over time.
Avoid placing heavy objects on top of the bag during storage, as this can compress the rope and distort the shape. Where possible, keep the bag lightly stuffed with tissue paper to help it hold its form.
Natural Character
Cotton rope is a living material. With use, your SNORR bag will soften slightly and develop its own character — this is not a defect, but a sign of quality natural craft. Small variations in texture, weave, and colour are inherent to the handmade process and are what make each bag unique.
A well-cared-for SNORR bag is made to last a lifetime — and to look even better for it.
